Story 1: Christine's Story

"Today I bought a magnifying glass I had been wanting it because I can't see well. I work in accessories with jewelry and really felt this would help me at work. I took it home and of course first thing I did was look into the band of my near 90 year old heirloom engagement ring of my grandmothers that I have been wearing for almost 27 years. My mother wore it before me. 18K JABEL was so crystal clear it shocked me and I came to the internet immediately. This is a sweet moment. It needs work and I have never wanted to take or leave at any. It is gorgeous and in incredibly beautiful condition. I love it with all my heart!! My grandparents were married in 1918 in Revere, outside of Boston."

Story 3: Beth's Story

"I went to a very reputable jeweler...He really felt that it was quite old. He loved the ring, and when he saw the Jabel Inscription, he smiled and said, "No wonder it is so beautiful!" My grandparents were married in 1927, and they were engaged for at least a year. I know that that ring was her original engagement ring. My mom, (an only child), died six months before my grandmother and the ring is still in our family. We are not sure what will be done with it. It will never leave the family and hopefully it will be enjoyed by some one. My grandparents were married for sixty one years before my grandfather passed away in 1988. My grandmother died in 1999 and her ring never left her finger. I think that it was very special to her and my grandfather always bought the best for his beloved. I believe he had to have researched where he would purchase his new bride's ring. He loved her so very dearly."

Story 4: Betsy's Story

"I have my grandmother's engagement ring...She lived to be 106 and always wore this ring."

How Do I Find An Heirloom Quality Engagement Ring?

Ask how the ring is made? Most rings on the market today are made using the casting method. While this is cost effective, the metal is less dense and more prone to wear and tear. You need to ask for die struck engagement ring. One of the first things you will notice is the weight of the ring. Die struck rings are more dense and are therefore stronger and will with stand the test of time, hold their appearance longer, and be here for your great grand children to love, admire, and pass along to their children. Ask a local jeweler to show you the difference.
